Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the emergency repair of two motors: a York Motor (640 HP / 3,600 RPM / 460v) and an ODP Baldor Motor (75 HP / 1775 RPM / 230/460v). The scope of services includes:
- Initial Inspection & Diagnostics: Visual inspection, insulation resistance, bearing inspection, and condition documentation.
- Disassembly: Disconnecting, transporting, and controlled disassembly.
- Mechanical Repairs: Inspecting shaft, rotor, housing; replacing bearings/seals; cleaning components; balancing rotor.
- Electrical Repairs: Inspecting stator windings, repairing/rewinding coils, re-insulating, varnishing, and surge testing.
- Cleaning & Reconditioning: Steam/solvent cleaning, contaminant removal, and recoating surfaces.
- Reassembly: To OEM specifications, including component alignment and torque.
- Testing & Quality Control: No-load test, vibration analysis, amperage/temperature readings, and final electrical testing.
- Delivery: Return of the motor to the site with an inspection report, repair documentation, test results, and warranty. All work must comply with OEM recommendations, IEEE standards, and applicable electrical safety regulations. The government will provide one escort for the work.
