Statement of Work (SOW)

To replace two aging outboard motors on a 2000 24' Munson Packcat landing craft boat used by the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge.

• Source and install new, current year model Honda marine 90 HP four-stroke outboard motors with 25" shafts.

• Remove existing Honda outboards.

• Include new control box, cables, key switches, gauges, and harness kits.

• Provide propellers appropriate for the boat's size and the operating environment (coastal and offshore islands along the Maine coast, including shallow rocky areas, open bays, and the Gulf of Maine).

• Ensure Sea Star hydraulic steering compatibility.

• Place of Performance: Maine Coastal Islands NWR, 14 Water Street, Milbridge, ME 04658. The boat is trailered and can be transported to the vendor for motor replacement.

• Period of Performance: Motors should be replaced no later than Fall 2026.

• Normal duty hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Contact information for emergencies must be provided.
