These motors will replace aging units on a 2000 24' Munson Packcat landing craft boat used by the Maine Coastal Islands NWR. The scope includes removing existing outboards and installing new control boxes, cables, key switches, gauges, harness kits, and appropriate propellers compatible with the boat's operation in coastal and offshore island environments. Compatibility with Sea Star hydraulic steering is also required. The contractor should be able to provide replacement steering, throttle, console, and hydraulic parts.

Offers will be evaluated based on technical experience, capacity, expertise, technical approach, management plan (key personnel), and past performance. Technical Capabilities & Past Performance combined are considered significantly more important than price. Required documents include a completed SF 1449, company information (including SAM.gov UEI), technical capabilities, past performance references (up to three clients), and a detailed price breakdown. Offerors must be registered, active, and eligible in SAM.gov.
