The U.S. Mission in Brazil requires the administration of the meal voucher program as part of the local compensation plan for approximately 900 locally employed staff. This program shall be effective within 30 days of the contract award, or on the earliest payroll date possible post award.
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Brasilia, Brazil will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available.
The anticipated performance period is for one (1) base year, with four (4) one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
Pursuant to FAR 4.203-1 (d), the Contracting Officer has determined that it is practicable for offerors to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to award. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to complete the SAM registration process in a timely manner to meet the deadline of SAM registration prior to award.
