Scope of Work
The contractor will provide one (1) Media Relations Assistant to support the USAO-SDMS. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a media strategy.
- Planning, writing, and editing news releases on USAO programs, cases, and achievements.
- Planning, scripting, and coordinating press conferences.
- Drafting and placing op-ed articles.
- Identifying and facilitating speaking opportunities for USAO personnel.
- Responding to media and community group information requests.
- Monitoring social media to publicize USAO programs and law enforcement efforts.
- Analyzing program materials for effective delivery and evaluating media strategy effectiveness.

Contract Details
- Contract Type: Labor Hour
- Period of Performance: One (1) base year (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027) with four (4) twelve-month option periods.
- Estimated Level of Effort: 1,500 hours per year.

- Security Clearance: A favorably completed "sensitive" security clearance (BI) (PSL 6-High Risk) is required, including background, credit, and drug screening.
