Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To procure nationwide occupational medical examination and medical review services for applicants and employees assigned to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Protective Service Division (PSD), Occupational Series 1801. The goal is to ensure personnel are medically qualified and fit to perform protective services responsibilities safely.

Services include:

• Pre-employment medical examinations

• Periodic employee medical examinations

• Return-to-duty reviews

• Fitness-for-duty evaluations

• Medical records management

• Secure status tracking and reporting

• Medical clearance determinations The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, and administrative support.

• Medical reviews and evaluations must comply with Federal 1811 Law Enforcement Medical Standards.

• Written medical clearance determinations are due within 5 business days of receiving complete records.

• Exams should be conducted in one visit when practical.
