Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive services for medical gas equipment, including:
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform PM on medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, and other medical gas system components listed in Appendix A, following OEM recommendations and NFPA 99 (2012).
- Annual Inspections: Conduct annual inspections as per NFPA 99 (2012) and Appendix B checklist.
- Corrective & Emergency Services: Provide scheduled and unscheduled technician time for corrective maintenance, repair, and installation, with emergency response required within 2 hours.
- Parts Provision: Supply necessary parts up to $25,000 per option year for deficiencies.
- Documentation: All activities must be documented to comply with TJC Standard PE.04.01.01 EP #3.
- Special Requirements: Technicians must hold ASSE 6010, 6020, and 6040 certifications. The scope also includes support for pre-construction risk assessment, asbestos safety, and water intrusion.
