- Evaluating the operation of CT units, gamma cameras, MRI units, rad/fluoro rooms, c-arms, portable x-ray devices, fixed specialty units, shielding design, and CR readers.

- Conducting annual inspections, as well as inspections prior to first clinical use, after repairs, or following tube changes/repairs.
- Reviewing CT dose optimization and protocols.

- Providing a list of certified personnel upon award and performing PM equipment inspections.
- Supplying patient exposure charts and dose estimate calculations.
