Training will be conducted in-person at the VA-FSC in Austin, TX (8000 Metropolis Drive, Building B, Austin, Texas 78744) and virtually for remote participants.
Submission & Evaluation
Interested SDVOSBs should submit a capabilities statement (less than 10 pages, 12pt Times New Roman) addressing specific questions outlined in the Sources Sought notice. Key areas include:
- SDVOSB compliance and verification.
- Experience with government agencies and medical terminology/coding training (in-person and virtual).
- Instructor certifications (e.g., CPC, CCA, CCS, RHIT, RHIA) and methods for staying current.
- Ability to deliver training materials 3-5 business days prior to courses and certificates within 5 business days post-training.
- Approach to virtual and in-person delivery, including engagement tools and classroom management.
- Curriculum coverage of PWS core competencies, tailoring for beginners, and adult learning strategies.
- Quality assurance practices and consistent performance.
- Instructor compliance with VA-FSC access procedures (Tier 1/NACI, no VA network access).
- Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing for in-person and virtual classes, and per-student/per-course material costs.
- Feedback on the draft PWS, including any burdensome or unclear requirements.
