Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, vehicles, containers, and materials necessary for the collection, removal, and disposal of infectious medical waste. Key requirements include:
- Providing 30-gallon single-use boxes and puncture-resistant plastic bags. Drivers will supply facility boxes and one liner per box. Sharps containers are not included in the service but can be purchased separately.
- Performing pick-ups a minimum of twice per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. EST, excluding Federal holidays.
- Utilizing a disposal facility compliant with all Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Providing certified disposal documentation (signed manifest) for each removal.
