Scope of Work

The FBI requires two (2) new, heavy-duty, stackable, expandable, and modular sheet metal storage systems. Key specifications include:

Height: 6 feet, with a minimum of 8 shelves (up to 9 shelves to accommodate stack height and forklift clearance).
Sheet Size: Accommodates 48" x 96" (4' x 8') sheets.
Capacity: 5,000 lbs. per cassette/cartridge.
Loading: Forklift compatible, requiring 2.5" to 3" material stack height for loading/unloading.
Material: 1/16" mild steel up to 1.5" armor plate.
Paint: Main rack preferred black; shelves preferred red, yellow, or orange.
Other: Containment flanges are preferred but must be removable. No depalletizer, scratch prevention liner, or galvanization is required.

Contract Details

Contract Type: Firm-fixed-price purchase order, single award agreement, under FAR Parts 12 and 13.
Payment Terms: NET30.
Delivery: FOB Destination to Ballistic Research Facility, Redstone Arsenal, AL, no later than 80 days after Receipt of Order (ARO).
Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov as a small business at the time of award.

Submission & Evaluation

Evaluation: Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).

Quote Validity: Quotes must be valid for 90 calendar days from the closing date.
