Quick Summary
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), specifically the Western Acquisition Division-Boulder, intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to Meteomatics AG (Switzerland) for Meteodrone MM-670M training and extended warranties. The training will be held in Pohnpei, FSM. This is a presolicitation notice, and no set-aside will be used.
Scope of Work
The requirement includes providing training for the Meteodrone MM-670M systems and two years of extended warranty on these systems. The training is to be completed no later than August 31, 2026, and the extended warranty will end on December 31, 2028.

Sole Source Justification

These drones were previously purchased due to their highly specialized technical specifications and have been approved by the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Division (UASD), meeting NOAA airworthiness, operational, and federal cybersecurity requirements (including SEC. 205 of the Cyber Security Information Sharing Act of 2015, OMB Circular 1-130, NIST SP 800-38, and NAO 212-13).
