LM RMS is identified as the sole designer, developer, systems integrator, and manufacturer of the MH-60R and MH-60S aircraft and weapon system. They are considered the only source with the necessary knowledge, personnel, facilities, tooling, test equipment, experience, and technical data. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources due to the substantial initial investment or extended preparation period required for manufacturing these supplies.
