Scope of Work
The contractor will provide non-personal services for the one-way movement of five (5) triple-axle fifth-wheel fish tagging trailers (approx. 13,500 lbs gross weight, 48' L x 8'6" W x 11'5" H). Services include:
- Transporting trailers between the FWS Green Bay, WI office and designated hatcheries in WI, MI, IL, IN, and PA.
- Adhering to a schedule for CY2026, with specific dates and locations detailed in the "B12 RFQ Tabulation Pricing" document.
- Providing heavy-duty dual axle pickup trucks (3500 series or stronger) capable of towing the specified weight and accommodating electrical braking systems. Full-sized semi-trucks are not suitable.
- Ensuring timely and safe pickup and delivery during normal business hours (7 am - 4:30 pm local time).
- Notifying hatchery staff of estimated arrival times and FWS of any mechanical issues or accidents.
- Maintaining a 24/7 single point of contact for schedule changes.
- Providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, and insurance.
