Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure a micro x-ray source for imaging defects inside thin-walled, additively-manufactured, metallic structures, ensuring structural integrity and quality assurance through high-resolution x-ray capability for non-destructive testing.

Procurement, fabrication (if applicable), and delivery of one (1) micro x-ray source. The contractor must ensure the hardware meets specified size, power, and resolution performance metrics.

• Voltage: 40 - 130kV

• Current: 10 – 300 μΑ

• Max Power: 39W

• Focal Spot Size: Maximum 10μm

• Cone Angle: 45 - 53 degrees

• Focus to Object Distance: 7 – 15 mm

• Form Factor: Compact design for integration into restricted spaces.

• Hardware Delivery Deadline: No later than April 17th, 2026.

• Tasks:

  • Manufacture/Supply one (1) micro x-ray source meeting technical specifications.
  • Perform factory acceptance testing to verify performance metrics (kV, Wattage, Spot Size) prior to shipment.

• Deliverables:

  • Micro X-Ray Source hardware unit.
  • Technical Documentation (Operation manuals, interface control drawings, safety guidelines).
  • Test Data (Certificate of Conformance and final test data verifying voltage, power, and spot size).

• Milestones: Order Acknowledgement, Pre-shipment verification/testing, Final Delivery and Acceptance.
