Justification for Sole Source

MEC is identified as the original sub-manufacturer and the only approved source certified by the PARM to meet all antenna assembly and Imaging Mast Specification requirements. A combined synopsis and solicitation notice was published on SAM.gov on March 13, 2025, inviting other responsible sources to submit capability statements, but no other sources responded.

The government intends to explore options for future competition if feasible. The Contracting Officer will conduct price and/or cost analysis to determine fair and reasonable prices prior to award.
