NOTICE: This is not a solicitation, but rather a Request for Information (RFI) announcement to allow potential prime contractors interested in the F-16 Missile Warning System (MWS) acquisition for the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and the Air National Guard (ANG) to receive the DRAFT Sections L&M. This announcement is not intended to direct or influence any financial or resource investment from industry vendors. No financial obligations or commitments with or to the Government should be inferred. This announcement does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. This is a RFI, which, as part of market research, is being issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(e).
The F-16 office at Hill AFB, UT has prepared DRAFT Sections L&M. Please see the attachments.
The F-16 Contracting Office requests that prime contractors provide written feedback and/or questions on the DRAFT Sections L&M documents be sent to daniel.olsen@us.af.mil and corey.muir@us.af.mil by June 11th, 2018 at 10:00 am Mountain Time.
Please provide a recommendation on how long (in # of days) your company would need to provide a proposal once a finalized solicitation is posted. (Ex. 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc.) Please provide that information to daniel.olsen@us.af.mil and corey.muir@us.af.mil by June 11th, 2018 at 10 am Mountain Time.
Also all prime contractors that are interested in this effort, are encouraged to provide written acknowledgement that their company is still interested in this effort and provide/re-provide a short capability statement by June 21st, 2018 at 10:00 am Mountain Time. Please provide your company name, cage code, DUNS code, business size status per NAICS 334511, POC including name/phone #/email, and short capability statement in regards to the MWS. These should be sent to daniel.olsen@us.af.mil and corey.muir@us.af.mil.
