Scope of Work
NAVSEA is seeking information from contractors for the production of MK 41 VLS launcher modules, which are critical components for United States Navy (USN) and allied Navy surface combatants, capable of launching various missiles including Standard Missile, Tomahawk, ASROC, and Evolved SEA SPARROW. The Government possesses a build-to-print Technical Data Package (TDP) that interested parties can request access to. Access requires an approved DD Form 2345 and a signed Terms of Use Agreement (TOUA).
Industry is encouraged to provide comments on the TDP, suggest alternative parts, propose innovative contracting and financing strategies, and identify perceived barriers to entry. General comments and questions regarding the procurement approach are also welcome.
