The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source contract action to BAE Land & Armaments L.P. (BAE) to provide Mechanical Design Agent requirements in support of the MK 41 Vertical Launching System. This contract action will add an additional one year of requirements. The basis for this sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
