Scope of Work
The project involves cleaning out approximately 1,615 feet of the J.D. 11 Branch 201 drainage ditch (from Station 45+00 to 65+00) to remove sediment and vegetation. The ditch has a cut width of 4 feet. Spoil material will be deposited along the north side of the ditch slope and top of the levee. Access is limited to the north side, and scattered oak trees may require removal with Refuge approval. A long reach excavator will likely be needed.
Performance Standards
Work must minimize rutting, soil disturbance, or compaction. Contractors must prevent the spread of noxious and invasive species and repair any damage to access roads. Equipment must be cleaned before and after entering the site.
