Scope of Sale

The vendor's facility must be located within 20 miles of the Rosemount FMS (14221 Biscayne Ave, Rosemount, MN 55068-4907). The government is responsible for transportation and delivery, while the purchaser is responsible for offloading and immediate acceptance upon arrival.
Contract Details
The agreement term includes a one-year base period (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027) with two optional one-year periods, extending potentially through June 30, 2029. The contractor agrees to pay for the scrap metal based on an agreed price per pound at the time of delivery. Payment is due within 15 days after scrap metal drop-off. Acceptable payment methods are cashier's check or money order, made payable to "U.S. Treasury."
Submission & Eligibility
Bids must be submitted by 10:00 AM CDT on Monday, June 15, 2026. Submissions can be delivered in person, mailed, or preferably emailed to Ariel Gould at ariel.d.gould.civ@army.mil. Telephonic bids will not be accepted. Bidders must be 18 years or older and provide their Tax Identification Number (TIN). Certain government employees and those delinquent in debt to the U.S. from prior surplus property purchases are ineligible. The government reserves the right to refuse all bids.
