Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide specialized tools, equipment, and labor for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of the Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) at Lajes Field AFB, ensuring its serviceability and preventing operational effectiveness deterioration.

• Maintain one (1) MAFT unit and associated equipment (Butane Tank, Generator, Air Compressor).

• Perform minor repairs to keep the MAFT fully operational, utilizing available onsite spare parts.

• For minor repairs requiring parts not on site, the contractor will identify needs, and the Government will procure items exceeding $3,500.00 after receiving three quotes.

• Major repairs are excluded from this contract.

• Installation, testing, and replacement of gas piping, gas utilization equipment, or accessories must be performed by qualified personnel.

• Inspections and preventive maintenance must be performed 100% of the time within one week of being required.
