• Technical approach, ability to meet delivery requirements, and explanation of any unaccomplished requirements will be evaluated.

• Pricing will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for mowing, weed-eating/trimming, and leaf removal services for the Marlinton Ranger District administrative offices, government quarters, and warehouse sites.

• Mowing, Weed-Eating/Trimming, and Leaf Removal: Services are required at the Administrative Office and Annex Grounds, Government Quarters, and Warehouse sites.

• Frequency: Services are to be performed at least once per week during the growing season (April through October) or as needed. Seasonal leaf removal will be on an "as needed" basis.

• Specific Areas: Includes grounds around buildings, fences, parking areas, sidewalks, stairs, entryways, bank areas, signs, trees, road culverts, and along specific road edges.

• Debris Removal: Contractor is responsible for removing and properly disposing of lawn debris, including leaves, limbs, trash, and vegetation generated from services.

• Edge Work: Edging of sidewalks, flower beds, and parking lots is required for a neat appearance.

• Leaf Removal (Seasonal): In the fall, leaf litter removal from ditches, hardened surfaces, and parking lots is required on an "as needed" basis.

• Base Period: 04/01/2026 – 03/31/2027

• Option Year #1: 04/01/2027 – 03/31/2028

• Option Year #2: 04/01/2028 – 03/31/2029

• Contractor Responsibilities: The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, and materials. The contractor is responsible for any damages caused by their operations and for the cost of repair or replacement. Equipment and supplies must be stored off-premises.

• Work Hours: Services can be performed Monday-Sunday, with the exception of the Warehouse area, which must be serviced Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

• Prohibited Activities: Use of herbicides/pesticides is prohibited for the contractor. Burning of material and debris is also prohibited.

• Damage Reporting: Damages must be reported immediately and filed within 5 days.
