Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The objective is to electrically separate the Small Mold Line and the Large Mold Line, which are currently combined under one PLC control system. This separation is necessary to clear space for an incoming sand router cell and allow for the demolition/removal of the small mold line equipment.

• Provide labor, materials, travel, rental equipment, and reference materials for the electronic separation of the two mold lines.

• Conduct an engineering site visit to survey and validate the panel and control system.

• Modify PLC and HMI programming codes.

• Remove all unused panel components and pull/terminate all unused wires from the panel.

• Move the control panel approximately ten feet, rerouting associated wiring.

• Provide two days of stand-by training/production support.

• Provide updated electrical drawings after separation.

• All work must be performed in a neat and "work-man-like" manner.

• Compliance with OSHA, Corps of Engineers safety regulations, EPA, State of Illinois, and Department of the Army Environmental Regulations.

• Proper disposal of all project debris off-island.

• Recycling of materials to the extent possible.

• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM, except Federal holidays or Government-directed closings. Off-hours work requires COR approval.

• Location: Foundry at Rock Island Arsenal.

• Safety & Environmental: Adherence to all federal, state, local, and Rock Island Arsenal safety and environmental regulations. Obtain necessary permits (e.g., hot work) and coordinate with the Fire Department. Proper disposal of hazardous waste and daily trash removal.

• Security: Compliance with all Rock Island Arsenal security requirements, including background checks for installation access, potential RAMP participation, and completion of Anti-Terrorism Level I and iWatch training. Real ID compliant identification is required for entry.

• Data Rights: The Government has unlimited rights to all documents and materials produced under this contract. All produced items are Government property.

• Personnel Qualifications: Contractor must provide experienced and qualified personnel.

• Meetings: Attendance at post-award conference and periodic progress meetings as required.
