Scope of Work
CEMVN seeks to acquire 118 average annual habitat units (AAHUs) of LDNR-approved FM/IM credits. These credits will mitigate impacts associated with the construction of the MTG Project in the Coastal Zone. The purchase will be made through a competitive solicitation/award process, potentially resulting in one or more contracts.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, mitigation banks must:
- Be approved by CEMVN and in full compliance with their Mitigation Banking Instrument (MBI) and 33 CFR Part 332 standards.
- Be physically located within the Deltaic Plain, specifically within designated Hydrologic Unit Codes (HUCs) including Atchafalaya, Barataria, Lake Pontchartrain, Mississippi River, and Terrebonne basins.
- Provide habitat types that match the habitat being mitigated.
- Have mitigation credits assessed using the certified Version 2.0 of the Freshwater Marsh / Intermediate Marsh (FM/IM) Wetland Value Assessment (WVA) Community Model.
- Possess a duly-recorded perpetual conservation servitude/easement.
