The project involves the construction of an earthen levee southwest of Dulac, Louisiana, approximately 13 miles south of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, parallel to the Houma Navigation Canal. The scope includes clearing and grubbing, degradation of existing levee, embankment placement up to elevation 15.5', placement of geotextile, access roads, surfacing, turf establishment, and related incidental work. Experience in unique local marsh/open water conditions is imperative.
