Scope of Work
The contractor will provide continuous, 24/7/365 on-call mortuary removal and transport services. This includes dispatch, removal, transportation, and temporary holding (if ordered), along with necessary documentation, incident reporting, and coordination with NIH staff. Services explicitly exclude embalming, cremation, funeral/burial services, autopsy, death certificate filing, organ/tissue donation coordination, and services requiring next-of-kin authorization beyond transport. Performance standards include call acknowledgment within 15 minutes, on-site arrival within 60 minutes, and local delivery within 4 hours of pickup. Personnel must meet NIH security requirements and comply with OSHA standards.

Submission Requirements & Notes
