Quality & Packaging

• Quality Assurance: The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements and compliance. Records of inspection work must be maintained for 365 days after final delivery. DLA Procurement Note E06 (Inspection and Acceptance at Source) is applicable.
• Packaging: Preservation, packaging, packing, and marking must be in accordance with the Contract/Purchase Order Schedule and MIL-STD 2073.
• Design Changes: No substitution of items or changes in design, material, or part number without prior written approval from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer. Specific codes are provided for different types of part number/design changes.
