Optional work includes repairs to an additional 2,750 feet of jetty trunk, requiring an estimated 10,900 cubic yards of stone (15-40 tons each, min. 175 pcf).

Construction is expected to occur in calendar years 2027 and potentially 2028, primarily between November and April, outside of the favorable work season due to marine conditions.

Project Constraints & Challenges

The project faces challenges from river/tidal/wave-induced currents, wave breaking risks, high coastal winds, and limited low-tide windows for low-elevation repairs. Construction may pause due to unsafe weather. N Head Rd must be used as the haul road.
