Quick Summary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Tulsa District has issued a Sources Sought announcement for Mowing Services at Fort Gibson Lake, Chouteau, and Newt Graham Projects. This is a market survey for information only, not a solicitation, to gather industry capabilities and determine a potential set-aside for a future competitive, firm-fixed-price contract. Responses are due by April 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT.

Scope of Work

The future contract will involve comprehensive mowing services for public use areas, project office complexes, dikes, and other designated areas. Specifically, the work includes:

  • Fort Gibson Lake: Mowing approximately 322 acres.
  • Chouteau & Newt Graham Projects: Mowing approximately 115 acres.

Services will be performed between April 15 and October 15, with park work permitted from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Key performance standards include maintaining specific grass heights (e.g., 2-6 inches for improved areas, 4-8 inches for dikes), ensuring smooth cuts without scalping, and thorough cleanup of debris from paved surfaces. The contractor will be required to provide experienced personnel, maintain equipment in good operating condition (complying with EM 385-1-1), establish a Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program, and furnish a comprehensive safety plan.
