Scope of Work
This Request for Quotation (RFQ) requires the installation and full functionality of a UL-listed IDS and a new Fire System. Key requirements include:
- IDS: Purchase and installation of a UL-listed IDS with specific panel models (Bosch 9512G series or DMP XR150) or approved equivalents. Must include expansion capabilities, panel tamper notification, remote monitoring, remote annunciation via standard internet protocol, cellular backup, panic buttons, and wireless key fobs. Specific sensor types (magnetic contacts, PIR motion detectors) are required, with each sensor configured as a separate zone.
- Fire System: Installation of a new Fire system for the HQ/VC Building and Bunkhouse, including specific panel models (DMP XF150), pull stations, strobes, and smoke detectors, based on provided layout diagrams.
- General: Removal and disposal of all prior IDS and fire detection hardware. Provision of a 7 AMP hour battery backup for a minimum of 4 hours. Minimum of 2 hours of end-user training for facility staff. All equipment must be new; no used, repurposed, or refurbished components are authorized. The system must be capable of IPv6 formatting and interoperability with IPv4 systems.

Submission & Evaluation

- The Government may contract with DHS - Federal Protective Service (FPS) for monitoring services, requiring completion of a DHS MegaCenter Alarm Requirements (MAR) package. Vendors should have prior experience connecting IDS systems to FPS MegaCenter via internet.
- Extensive Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR) clauses are incorporated, covering IT security, privacy, accessibility, and Section 889 compliance.
