Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure memberships at a local commercial fitness facility for all U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Marine Safety Unit (MSU) Houma personnel to ensure compliance with the Commandant’s Mandatory Workout Policy.

• Provide 90 memberships for active-duty and civilian personnel at MSU Houma.

• The facility must be located within Houma, LA.

• Must offer a comprehensive selection of cardio equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, rowers).

• Must provide a comprehensive complement of weightlifting equipment (free weights and machines).

• A dedicated space for High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and CrossFit-style workouts is required.

• Instructor-led group fitness classes (e.g., aerobics, Zumba, kickboxing) should be available at no additional charge.

• Contractor is responsible for facility safety, maintenance, and upkeep.

• Facility must be clean, safe, and fully operational.

• Safety measures for steps, sidewalks, and parking lots (debris, ice, snow removal) are required.

• One-year base period: May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027

• Four (4) one-year option periods: May 1, 2027 – April 30, 2031

• The government will assign a membership manager for pass issuance and log maintenance.

• The government requires a 60-day cancellation notice prior to renewal.

• The government is only responsible for services outlined in the SOW.
