Request for Information (RFI)

This RFI is issued by the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone, in support of the U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA). The purpose is to conduct market research to identify potential sources capable of providing a brand name or equivalent Multifunction Reference Thermometer Readout w/Temperature. This is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or promise of a future RFP.

• Item: One (1) ADT286-TS-PKG-110V Multifunction Reference Thermometer Readout w/Temperature, or equivalent.
• Purpose: To replace an aging Hart Black Stack unit (20+ years old) used for Temperature Calibrations, and for broader use within the Temperature Laboratory.
• Key Specifications: Must include a Temperature Scanner Module and operate on 110 Voltage. The specific model is Additel ADT286-TS-PKG—110V.

This document is a purchase description for the procurement of one (1) Multifunction Reference Thermometer Readout with Temperature model or equivalent. The U.S. Army TMDE Activity (USATA) requires this unit as a replacement for an aging Hart Black Stack (over 20 years old) used for temperature calibrations against Type-S thermocouples. The new unit is expected to have a wider range of functions for use within the Temperature Laboratory.
