• Scope of Work: Encompasses large, complex facilities and processing actions, including general and industrial construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, alteration, construction, demolition, built-in equipment repair/replacement, piping repair/replacement, pipe lagging, electrical work, mechanical work, road pavement, fencing, roofing, painting, site work, removal of lead-based paint and asbestos-containing material, welding, masonry, conductive flooring, and potentially design services.
• Place of Performance: Primarily Indian Head, Maryland, and surrounding areas, with potential support required up to a 300-mile radius.
• Contract Value: Anticipated base contracts will have a five-year ordering period (2 base + 3 option years) with an aggregate value up to $98,000,000, shared among awardees. Task orders are expected to range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, though variations are possible.
• NAICS Code: 2362 - Nonresidential Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45M.
• Submission Requirements: Interested contractors must submit a brief capabilities statement (max 6 single-sided pages or 3 double-sided pages) demonstrating ability to perform complex construction between $1M - $5M. The submission must include specific business information via the "MACC Sources Sought Contractor Information Form" (Enclosure 1). Registration in SAM.gov is required.
• Deadline: Responses are due by 1400 PM (EST) on Friday, 05 February 2026, submitted electronically to Kirk Thorne (kirk.e.thorne.civ@us.navy.mil).
• Set-Aside Potential: The Government may establish this acquisition as a 100% set-aside based on responses received.
