Submission & Evaluation
There are two primary response methods:
- Fires Capability Gap (FCG): A flexible, open-ended process for industry to submit solution briefs. This may involve up to three phases: Solution Brief, Live Pitch/Demo, and Solution Proposal. FCG submissions are awardable for up to 18 months.
- Call for Solutions: Issued as amendments to the open solicitation, these will specify requirements, evaluation procedures, and award processes for particular needs. Evaluation will be based on Technical Merit, Schedule, and Company Viability. Companies must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI) and be registered in SAM.gov. The Government will not reimburse for costs incurred during participation in Phases 1-3.
