Key Requirements & Instructions
- OEM Requirement: If not the Original End Manufacturer (OEM), offerors must state the OEM (Company Name and CAGE) and provide a signed letter of authorization as a distributor.
- Repair Process: Vendors will have 90 days after receipt of carcasses to complete a TD&E and submit an FFP quote for the full repair effort. Quotes must include the cost of new material for evaluation.
- Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT): A requested RTAT of 180 days is specified. Price reductions will be incurred for failure to meet the required RTAT. Final inspection and acceptance must occur within the RTAT.
- Pricing: Repair price must include all costs associated with receipt, complete repair (including unwhole/damaged material), and CAV Reporting. Offerors must provide Teardown & Evaluation Rate, RTAT, Throughput Constraint, and Induction Expiration Date.
- Packaging: Preservation, packaging, packing, and marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
