  • Door Access Control System: Installation of a non-proprietary system for four doors, including card readers, a standalone workstation, and software managing up to 50 users. All systems must operate on a separate, isolated network and comply with NPS, DOI, NFPA, and other applicable codes. The contractor must ensure continuous Visitor Center operations during normal business hours and provide a minimum one-year warranty on equipment and labor. Responsibilities also include site surveys, permits, coordination with NPS personnel, debris removal, and on-site training. Battery backup for ACS, VSS, and IDS systems must last 8 hours.
