Scope of Work

• Perform all repair work in accordance with contractor's standard practices, manuals, and directives, including drawings, technical orders, and approved repair standards.
• Ensure physical identification of items adheres to MIL-STD-130, REV N, 16 NOV 2012.
• Obtain approval from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer for any changes in design, material, servicing, or part numbers, except for Code 1 changes.
• Conduct all inspection and testing per original manufacturer's specifications and drawings, maintaining records for 365 days post-delivery.
• Package items in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
• Accelerated delivery is encouraged.

Contract Details

• Type: Request for Quotations (RFQ) leading to a bilateral award.
• Product Service Code: 6130 - Converters, Electrical, Nonrotating.
• Set-Aside: No specific set-aside designated, but the solicitation indicates options for "SMALL", "OTHER THAN SMALL", "DISADVANTAGED", and "WOMEN-OWNED" business classifications.

Submission & Evaluation

• Proposed Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT). If the Government's required 142-day RTAT cannot be met, capacity constraints must be provided.
• Details for Testing and Evaluation (T&E) if an asset is determined Beyond Repair (BR/BER), including a Not-to-Exceed (NTE) fee.
• Awardee CAGE, Inspection & Acceptance CAGE, and Facility/Subcontractor CAGE.
• New unit price and delivery lead-time for comparison. Award will be made to the eligible, responsible, technically acceptable offeror whose offer is most advantageous, with past performance considered more important than price.
