Justification & Response
The proposed action is justified under FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source," stating that Teledyne FLIR Defense, Inc. is the sole source capable of satisfying agency requirements. While this is an intent to sole source, all responsible sources are invited to submit a capability statement. These statements will be considered for re-evaluating the justification or potentially changing the acquisition strategy to a competitive procurement. However, the decision to compete remains solely at the Government's discretion. The solicitation and amendments for this sole source action will not be posted to SAM.gov.
