The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. However, if response by Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms proves inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined. D.1 STATEMENT OF WORK
TITLE: Digital Signs Installation Services VA Southern Arizona.
GENERAL SCOPE
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement for new Digital Signs Installation services to be installed at the Southern Arizona VA at 3601 South 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85723. The scope of this award includes hardware removal, installation of new hardware to existing structure, and installation of new software for the two electronic signs.
2.0 SPECIFIC TASKS.
This requirement includes:
Removal of aged hardware from the Ajo Gate and 6th Ave Gate digital sign
Installation of new hardware to both signs in existing structure
Installation of Opx Software to both signs
Utilization of existing power source for both signs
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to satisfy the needs of this contract.
BACKGROUND.
Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) has two outdoor digital communications signs located at the Ajo Gate and 6th Ave Gate. The Electronics Section under Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Service will utilize a vendor to remove all existing aged modules, install new hardware, install new software and modules to the existing structure, and utilize existing power. Outdoor digital communication signs at SAVAHCS are used to display important information to Veterans and staff.
