Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To retrofit a National Park Service (NPS) 2021 International MV607 truck with a J-Tech engineered service body, truck-mounted attenuator (TMA), and associated safety pod components. The goal is to support roadway safety operations, improve worker protection, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

• Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and technical services to retrofit a government-provided 2021 International MV607 chassis.

• Work includes:

  • Engineering and verification of J-Tech design drawings for compatibility with the MV607 chassis.
  • Installation of a J-Tech-engineered service body.
  • Installation of a J-Tech (or J-Tech-specified) truck-mounted attenuator (TMA) meeting NCHRP 350 or MASH TL-3 requirements.
  • Installation of J-Tech safety pods.
  • Integration of electrical and lighting systems, including warning lights, arrow boards, and control switches, ensuring compliance with FMVSS and MUTCD guidelines.
  • Functional testing and quality control of all installed components.

• Contractor is responsible for transportation of the government vehicle to and from their facility.
