The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) is gathering information on industry capabilities to support the issuance of publicly trusted certificates for document signing, email signing, and Transport Layer Security (TLS) support. To that end, NCIA is issuing the attached Request for Information (RFI) to solicit feedback from capable and interested industry partners.
This RFI is issued for planning and budgeting purposes only. It is part of NCIA’s effort to ensure it has a clear understanding of the marketplace, available capabilities, estimated costs, and potential acquisition strategies.
This RFI is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB).
The NCIA reference for this RFI is RFI-424314-NPKI-TPT, and all correspondence and submissions concerning this matter should reference this number.
This RFI is for planning and informational purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or obligation on the part of the NCIA. NCIA does not intend to award a contract based solely on responses to this RFI. Respondents are solely responsible for all costs incurred in responding to this RFI. NCIA will consider and analyze all information received from this RFI and may use these findings to develop a future solicitation. NCIA will consider all responses, to include any indicative pricing estimates, as confidential commercial information and will protect it as such.
