Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive mobile shredding services, including:
- Secure collection and shredding of designated paper materials at NAWCAD Lakehurst.
- Provision of 40 secure, lockable collection containers (36 large, 4 small).
- Monthly service visits for all containers.
- Shredding must utilize cross-cut technology, ensuring material destruction by burning, mulching, pulping, shredding, or disintegrating. Recycling is acceptable if processed into new paper.
- Compliance with all applicable Federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EPA, Privacy Act of 1974, NARA, and NIST SP 800-53.
- Contractor personnel must obtain base access, be uniformed, carry photo ID, and maintain confidentiality. No foreign nationals permitted.
- Submission of monthly status reports detailing total tonnage and quarterly shred samples (CDRL A001).
- Contractor must hold AAA Certification from the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) prior to award.
