Purpose & Scope
This Industry Day aims to gather information for market research (FAR Part 10 and FAR 15.201(c)) regarding private industry capabilities in NDT and advanced inspection techniques. The Navy seeks to understand:
- PAUT with Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD): Assessing private sector capability and capacity to support Navy requirements where organic capacity is insufficient.
- PAUT Procedure Development & Qualification: Identifying partners to develop and qualify PAUT inspection procedures for structural applications, adhering to Navy technical publications.
- Data Architecture for NDT: Exploring seamless digital data architecture for NDT records, supporting machine learning, AI, and a digital framework within an AWS government cloud environment, requiring understanding of NDT data standards, ontologies, and DICONDE.
Event Details
The Industry Day will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 0800 - 1530 EST (check-in 0730-0800) at 1201 M St, Washington D.C. The event will be unclassified and include open discussions on the three topics, a Q&A session, and potential one-on-one breakout sessions. Information shared by the Government necessary for future proposals will be made available to all potential offerors.
Registration & Submission
Advance registration is mandatory and same-day registration will not be accommodated. Interested parties must complete and submit the attached registration form by 1200 EST on June 19, 2026. Attendance is capped at five (5) attendees for prime contractors and three (3) for subcontractors. Prospective attendees are encouraged to submit questions about the topic areas by 1600 EST on June 19, 2026, to Leigh Marvin.
