Purpose & Scope of Work

The scope includes furnishing and installing a complete, fully functional split-system HVAC unit with approximately 2 tons cooling capacity (minimum 14.3 SEER2), a propane furnace (40,000–60,000 BTU), and/or electric emergency heat (10,000-15,000 BTU) with minimum 80% AFUE, using A2L or code-compliant refrigerant. The contractor will be responsible for proper disposal of old equipment, repair of any demolition damage, connection to existing utilities, ductwork inspection/repair, condensate management, and installation of a programmable thermostat.
Contract Details & Requirements
This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. The Period of Performance is 90 days from the Notice to Proceed, with work hours Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. A minimum one-year labor warranty is required, with manufacturer warranties transferred to the Government. The Department of Labor Wage Determination NC20260123 for Building Construction Projects in Currituck and Gates Counties, North Carolina, applies.
