Scope of Work
This project involves the comprehensive replacement of an existing 2-ton air conditioner and furnace. Key tasks include:
- Disconnecting and properly disposing of the current 2-ton air conditioner and furnace.
- Installing a new 2-ton Trane air conditioner on a concrete pad, connecting it to existing ductwork and electrical systems, and ensuring proper refrigerant charge and operation.
- Installing a new 2-ton Trane evaporator in the existing air handling unit, connecting refrigerant lines, and inspecting for leaks.
- Installing a new 2-ton 45,000 BTU propane furnace, connecting it to existing ductwork, gas line, and electrical systems, including an emergency drain pan.
- Performing an R-11 flush on refrigerant lines to remove contaminants.
All work must comply with applicable safety, environmental, and building codes. A one-year warranty on all labor and materials is required.
