Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Belgium will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it becomes available.

The U.S. Embassy to Belgium intends to issue a Purchase Order (P) firm-fixed-price contract for the services for access to NATO’s telecommunications infrastructure—specifically via the Athena and Magellan circuit lines—is essential for meeting USNATO’s operational requirements. These secure, dedicated connections, provisioned exclusively through the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), serve as the primary and in many cases the only channels for USNATO personnel to communicate with NATO Headquarters and counterparts across the Alliance. NCIA’s Service Support Package (SSP) ensures the stable, secure, and uninterrupted connectivity required for access to NATO systems and networks.

Registration Requirements

It is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $40,000 to register on the website “SAM – System for Award Management” www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as the company’s legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. An NCAGE code is required to register in SAM. If you do not have this information, it must be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, neither to obtaining the NCAGE code nor to register in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder.

Electronic Submission/Responses

This opportunity will allow for electronic responses. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions, but discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary.
