Scope of Work

NAMRU SOUTH requires specific reagents for library preparation and sequencing. The reagents include: FC-110-3001 PhiX Control v3, MS-102-3003 MiSeq Reagent Kit v3 (600-cycle), FC-131-1096 Nextera XT DNA Library Preparation Kit (96 samples), FC-131-2001 Nextera XT Index Kit v2 Set A (96 indexes, 384 samples), FC-420-1003 MiniSeq High Output Reagent Kit (300-cycles), and FC-131-2002 Nextera XT Index Kit v2 Set B (96 indexes, 384 samples).

Key requirements for the reagents include:

  • Library Preparation: Enzymatic fragmentation, size selection, end-repair, a-tail and ligation in a single reaction, dual index compatibility, and low DNA input (~50ng).
  • Sequencing Kits: Ability to run over 150 cycles for paired-end libraries, high-quality performance yielding >2.0Gb per run with high Q30 values, and inclusion of an internal control.
