Description:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a single source contract to National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA). This was done in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2024, Section 603, NextGen Accountability Review.
The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 authorizes NAPA to conduct an independent review of the NexGen Air Transportation System Program. NAPA will assess the FAA’s performance in delivering and implementing quantifiable operational benefits to the National Airspace System (NAS) within the NextGen program.
This notification is being administered in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Guidance T3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. NAPA is the authorized source selected by Congress via the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 to meet the FAA’s requirements. This announcement is for informational purposes only and is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to NAPA and is not available for full and open competition.
