Scope of Work

This contract procures non-personal welding services for NAB weld repair. The scope includes:

  • Providing two (2) certified welders per task order, for a duration of two weeks (80 hours) per trip, with a maximum of ten (10) trips per contract year.
  • Performing multi-pass welding repairs using Mig & Tig processes on small and large NAB structures, including repairs at depths of 6 inches or more and thin gage welds.
  • Welders must be capable of performing in all welding positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
  • The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary welding equipment, tools, PPE, materials, travel, and other direct costs. The Government will provide floor space, water, compressed air, electrical support, and storage.
  • Work involves classified naval components (Confidential level), requiring personnel to obtain appropriate security clearances (Tier 3 investigation, FCL at CONFIDENTIAL within 14 days of award). Dual citizens will not be granted security clearance.
