Quick Summary
The Department of the Army is conducting a Sources Sought notice for lodging, meals, and support services for approximately 50 cadets attending the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) ROTC Mini Camp in Roswell, NM, from June 23-27, 2026. This market research aims to identify capable sources and inform the acquisition strategy, with a potential Total Small Business Set-Aside. Responses are due by April 23, 2026.
Purpose
This is a Sources Sought notice for market research only, not a request for quotes or proposals. The U.S. Government seeks to identify sources capable of providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, supervision, and non-personal services necessary for the NMMI ROTC Mini Camp. The information gathered will help determine if the requirement can be set aside for small businesses, encouraging responses from all socioeconomic categories. The anticipated NAICS code is 721214 – Recreational and Vacation Camps (except Campgrounds), with a $9.0 Million size standard.
Scope of Work
The requirement, detailed in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), includes:
- Lodging: Furnished, non-smoking rooms for 50 cadets (double occupancy), separate from Troop Leadership Advisors (TLAs), with separate male/female restrooms/showers.
- Meals: Daily breakfast and dinner for 50 cadets, served hot, nutritionally balanced, with vegetarian options, adhering to food sanitation standards.
- Troop Leadership Advisors (TLAs): Minimum of two TLAs for night security and oversight from 2100-0600 daily.
- Room Cleaning: Thorough cleaning before and after camp, plus daily cleaning of bathrooms, floors, and trash removal during the camp.
- Miscellaneous Support: Access to a copier, mailing services, and 40 lbs of bagged ice or a commercial ice machine daily.
Performance will be evaluated via a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) against specific Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) metrics for overall support, meals, feeding times, lodging, and daily cleaning.
