Scope of Work
The selected contractors will provide Tour Coordinator duties within the Nursing Administration – Nursing Resources department at NNMC. Key responsibilities include:
- Patient Care Coordination: Ensuring safe patient care delivery, adhering to technical direction from the Nursing Resources Supervisor. This involves meeting various competency standards (e.g., HIPAA, EMTALA, Medication Administration, Pain Management, Charting).
- Tour Coordinator Specific Duties: Collaborating with hospital departments to coordinate patient care activities, managing admissions, discharges, and transfers, utilizing the Electronic Health Record, and coordinating with support services (e.g., Facilities, Laboratory, Radiology). Duties also include nursing rounds and assisting in emergency situations.
- Work Schedule: Rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements
Offerors must propose individuals with:
- Experience: 36 months of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a Tour Coordinator environment, including performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and data analysis.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS) mandatory; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at selection.
- Other: Fitness for duty, specific immunizations, basic computer knowledge, mandatory background checks, and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for handling Protected Health Information (PHI). Respect for American Indian and Alaska Native culture is essential.
